We are seeking a Test and Evaluation (T&E) Engineer to support the Short and Intermediate Effectors for Layered Defense Project Office (SHIELD).  In this role, you will directly work with SHIELD T&E Director and Product Managers to ensure integration with the product’s success through rigorous test methods and technical expertise.  You will support multidisciplinary Integrated Product Teams to develop solutions that support developmental, test, and operational goals.  A test engineer/analyst in this position is expected to be self-motivated, possessing strong written and verbal communications skills, and support or lead the following events/items including

Test plan and objectives developmentTest requirements developmentTest documentation preparation & reviewTest resources planning and coordinationTest scheduling Data collection & analysisPreparation of reports such as Quick-Look and final Test Reports Brief test report results

Required:

BS or BA degree10 years of related experience 7 years of direct T&E experience with Air and Missile Defense (AMD) systems such as PATRIOT, M-SHORAD, IFPC- Inc 2Experience supporting / leading missile flight test missionsExperience working on (applicable to ground and/or flight tests):Test plan designsTest resource requirementsTest scenariosPerformance analysisProduction qualification testingRequirements testingPost-mission test analysis and reportingWorking knowledge of the DoD Army Acquisition process & Test and EvaluationSome travelMust have an in-scope DoD Secret security clearance
