We are looking for a meticulous and technically proficient End-to-End (E2E) Test Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in comprehensive testing of enterprise-level financial systems, particularly in API testing and database validation. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of our applications through strategic test planning, execution, and automation.
Your roleDesign and execute robust E2E test scenarios across UI, API, and backend components of GXT applications.Develop and maintain automated test scripts for RESTful and SOAP APIs using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent.Perform database validations and write complex SQL queries to ensure data integrity and accuracy of backend processes.Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA leads to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.Identify, document, and manage defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing practices and processes.Your skills and experienceProven experience in E2E testing of large-scale enterprise applications.Strong proficiency in both manual and automated API testing.Solid understanding of SQL and hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with financial or trading systems, especially GXT or similar platforms.Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Shell.Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter is a plus.Life at CapgeminiCapgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
