Boeing Australia is seeking 2 x detail-oriented and technically skilled Test Analysts to support structured testing activities for corporate systems including Payroll, HR, ERP, and manufacturing operations.

The Test Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders to understand business processes and system requirements, design and execute test cases, and automate testing using relevant tools.

A key responsibility is to integrate testing activities into Azure DevOps (ADO) Test Planning for effective test management, tracking, auditability, and defect management.

This role requires strong collaboration skills, technical proficiency in test automation, and a commitment to quality in a regulated aerospace and defence environment.

The role is based in Brisbane with hybrid working conditions.

Due to the International nature of the role and business as a whole, there may be the requirement to support after hours meetings, however flexibility is encouraged. Some domestic travel may be required.

About the Role:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze business processes and system requirements to develop comprehensive test cases and scenarios.Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to validate system functionality, performance, and compliance with business needs.Implement and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium or equivalent frameworks.Integrate automated and manual testing activities into Azure DevOps (ADO) Test Planning for structured test execution, tracking, and reporting.Manage defect logging, tracking, and resolution processes within ADO or other defect management tools, ensuring clear communication with development and business teams.Participate in test planning sessions, status meetings, and retrospectives to provide testing insights and progress updates.Support regression testing and continuous integration efforts to ensure system stability and quality during development cycles.Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defects to support audit and compliance requirements.Work closely with Test Manager, developers, and business analysts to ensure alignment of testing activities with project goals and quality standards.Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and automation frameworks to increase efficiency and effectiveness.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

Proven experience as a Test Analyst or similar role, preferably in regulated industries such as aerospace, defence, or manufacturing.Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools, particularly Selenium or equivalent.Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) Test Planning or similar test management tools for test case management, execution, and defect tracking.Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.Ability to translate business requirements and processes into effective test cases and automation scripts.Good knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle (STLC) processes.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams.Applicants must be Australian citizens to meet defence security requirements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fieldFamiliarity with Agile and DevOps environments
