**Your role and responsibilities**
As a Territory Sales Specialist, you will focus on Select Territory accounts, covering an entire suite of products on both an outbound and inbound basis. You will understand the client's business needs and align IBM's value proposition based on solution offerings. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Develop and execute sales strategies for IBM Cloud offerings (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, AI, and hybrid cloud solutions).
• Build and maintain strong client relationships across C-level and technical stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Collaborate with technical specialists and ecosystem partners to deliver compelling solutions.
• Achieve or exceed assigned revenue and growth targets.
• Stay current on IBM Cloud portfolio, industry trends, and competitive landscape
**Required technical and professional expertise**
• Digital Selling Experience: Exposure to utilizing digital tools to identify and progress sales opportunities, with an understanding of how to leverage technology to drive sales growth.
• Product Offering Knowledge: Experience working with a suite of products, with the ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and effectively communicate their value to clients.
• Solution Selling: Exposure to understanding client business needs and aligning solution offerings to meet those needs, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor.
• Ecosystem Collaboration: Experience working with partners across an ecosystem to drive revenue growth and achieve shared goals.
• Industry Knowledge: Exposure to the industry and market trends, with an understanding of how to apply this knowledge to drive sales growth and expand presence in a territory.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
Familiarity with IBM Cloud, Red Hat OpenShift, and containerization technologies.
• Experience selling to enterprise clients in regulated industries.
• Knowledge of cloud migration strategies and multi-cloud environments.
Core Technical Skills
• Hybrid Cloud Expertise: "Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and multi-cloud environments."
• Containerization & Orchestration: "Proficiency in Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift for containerized workloads."
• Cloud-Native Development: "Ability to design and deploy cloud-native applications leveraging microservices."
• Automation & DevOps: "Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation tools."
• Security & Compliance: "Knowledge of cloud security frameworks, identity management, and compliance standards."
