Our client is a leading manufacturer of emerging technology in the smart home robotics industry! They are seeking a remote based Territory Sales Representative to grow the Midwest territory.
Reporting the VP of Sales, the Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for establishing new sales channels and directing sales activities of current major accounts. Note this is a fully remote role.
Territory Sales Representative responsibilities: Develop and execute US sales strategies to further penetrate relevant sales channels (Swimming Pools and Leisure) Work with retailer’s buyer/merchant team to ensure outstanding sales performance. Serve as a trusted advisor to partner channels, assisting with product promotions, merchandising, training and troubleshooting issues. Collaborate with Marketing and Supply Chain to develop sales strategies and hit target numbers. Monitor and report on targets and present creative strategies for course correction. Plan, host, coordinate and facilitate trade shows, business events and client meetings according to business plan. The successful candidate has: A minimum of 5 years of proven strategic sales experience. Preferably in the Pool Equipment Wholesale industry or Consumer Electronics. Degree in Business Administration in Sales, Marketing or Finance. Intimate understanding of wholesaler/retailer buying process and departments. Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel 10 -20% (overnight). Knowledge of the recreational pool equipment industry is considered an asset. Compensation and benefits: The discussed base salary range is between $80,000-100,000 USD depending on experience, plus commission structure. On target earnings for this role is $140,000 USD. Candidates with additional experience and higher. compensation expectations may also be considered. Comprehensive benefits package. Remote home office.
