THE POSITION: Territory Sales Manager – Unique Wholesale Business 

The Territory Sales Manager for our Unique Wholesale business is responsible for prospecting sales and qualifying leads for new accounts.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong understanding of the window treatment industry. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new sales opportunities, and achieving sales targets. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

Establish and maintain strong relationships: 

Be the point person for your territory. Manage current accounts, stay in close contact, and reactivate dormant accounts  Create brand awareness within your territory, request referrals, and deliver educational content   Develop a full understanding of account needs, patterns and circumstance

Generate sales: 

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets  Conduct in-person meetings and calls with clients and prospects  Continually adapt innovative and creative strategies to increase sales with existing accounts 

Own and deploy business development strategies: 

Consistently identify and pursue new accounts within your assigned territory to expand account base and distribution   Contact and qualify leads   Implement effective sales strategies to showcase products, collections and explain styles, in a way that meets prospective accounts’ needs and customer base

Perform account upkeep and sales operations tasks: 

Provide customer support by answering calls, identifying issues, and making suggestions  Maintain accurate records   Prepare and analyze regular sales data for management review

YOUR EXPERTISE: 

Bachelor's degree is in Sales or Business Administration is preferred  5+ years’ experience in a sales or wholesale sales role  Knowledge of window treatment products and components is a plus  Ability to work independently and as part of a team  Talented communicator, who is approachable to internal colleagues and external customers  Possess a passion to want to learn and grow  Ability to be a true hunter, naturally curious, results-driven, and eager to bring in new business  Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques   Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations  Operationally savvy, with an understanding of sales performance metrics, Excel and CRM/ERP software   Ability to work in-office, with travel to visit accounts
