Position Summary:
Responsible for increasing the sales revenue and profitable growth in Taiwan.
Accountable for executing assigned sales goals within the designated sale territory.
Interact with Global sales teams and work with operations team to provide premier customer experience.
Scope/Supervision and Interaction:
Does Not Have Direct Reports
Reports to Asia Pacific Telecom/IT Market Sales Manager. Works with related Territorial Sales Managers, Application Engineering Team, and Regional Distributors. Interface with Global Sales Teams, Business Units and Product Platforms.
Job Responsibility:
+ Sales responsibility for full range of Chomerics’ products in Taiwan and assigned accounts.
+ Exceed annual sales target for both Taiwan territory and key accounts if any.
+ Create and maintain strong $ potential projects in Opportunities Pipeline.
+ Close won more than enough projects to compensate the project erosion and lost.
+ Continue to evaluate & make required changes on the Distributor Channel to support the business growth
+ Take ownership to communicate with US/EU Sales Team and drive the OEM design-in activities overseas.
+ Manage well transfer programs among regions and/or locations to ensure the company capturing the business.
+ Work closely with Operations and Territorial Sales team to ensure excellent fulfillment is provided to customers.
+ Eliminate obstacles to engage with Key OEMs and set up Vendor Code whenever required to grow the business.
+ Provide organization a regular update of customer business situation and condition for division strategic planning purposes.
+ Identify market trend, customer needs, and market size/potential.
+ Identify new potential customers and applications.
+ Establish and implement mid-term (1-3 years) sales growth plan for Taiwan.
+ Provide market intelligence to aid in sound product development and commercialization.
+ Provide sales management timely reports summarizing business activities.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree (BS) – preferably in Business, Engineering degree or related field. MBA is preferred, but not a must.
+ More than 3 years experience in sales and/or marketing requiring frequent customer interaction.
+ Demonstrate a successful track record of growing sales in Electronics market. IT market in Taiwan is highly preferred.
+ Experience in successfully developing and leveraging distribution channels as sales extension to achieve sales goals.
+ Hands-on experience in managing business opportunities and projects across regions, for instance, US-Asia, Taiwan-Mainland China.
+ Strong Strategic Thinking mindset and sense of ownership.
+ Strong analytical, technical skills and problem-solving skills.
+ Detail-oriented and result driven.
