Territory Production Lead
To organize and deliver targeted rice seed production volumes in designated territories with standard quality parameters, ensuring timely execution and compliance with company standards. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Production Planning & Execution:** + Plan and organize rice seed production across assigned acreage. + Coordinate with grower leaders and farmers to meet production targets. + Ensure all field-level operations align with company agronomic standards. + **Quality Assurance:** + Implement quality systems and SOPs for rice seed production. + Monitor and ensure product quality meets defined specifications. + Facilitate training on best production practices for growers and staff. + **Grower Engagement:** + Identify and onboard suitable grower leaders and villages. + Maintain strong relationships with growers and grower leaders. + Educate growers on agronomic practices, input usage, and compliance. + **Compliance & Safety:** + Drive HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) and CSR initiatives. + Ensure adherence to regulatory and company compliance standards. + **Data & Reporting:** + Collect and submit timely field data and periodic reports. + Monitor competitor activities and cropping pattern changes. + Conduct post-season analysis by hybrid, village, and grower leader. + **Team Leadership:** + Lead and motivate field production staff and NFTEs (Non-Farm Technical Experts). + Train team members on SOPs, policies, and technical aspects. **Qualifications:** + **Education:** B.Sc./M.Sc. in Agriculture, Seed Science & Technology, Agronomy, or Soil Science. + **Experience:** 2–3 years in rice seed production or field-level agri operations. **Preferred Skills & Attributes:** + Strong understanding of rice agronomy and seed production. + Knowledge of agricultural inputs (fertilizers, pesticides). + Familiarity with rural sociology and grower psychology. + Effective communication and leadership skills. + Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
