Territory Manager Salon & Beauty
Overview

This position will be located in either in San Antonio or Austin

 

The Territory Manager is responsible for driving sales, expanding market share, executing operational excellence, and building strong relationships with all store/district partners within a defined geographic territory. This role requires a deep understanding of strategic sales driving tactics in the beauty industry, salon operations, and maintaining profitable Operating Statements. Territory Managers will serve as a brand ambassador, providing coaching, performance management guidance, promotional support, and operational leadership. They will also ensure adherence to brand standards and offer strategic insights to help maximize sales potential at each location

 

Business Performance  

• Reviews targeted reports and business processes to identify sales, profit and productivity opportunities across assigned Territory.  

 

• Develops Plans to maximize performance.  Monitors results on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.  

 

• Leverages District Manager relationships to communicate key initiatives and drive accountability.

Communicating with district leaders on a consistent basis.  

 

• Provides regular territory performance insights at key intervals (weekly, monthly, and quarterly), including during peak events and weekends, to drive alignment and support business priorities. 

 

• Ability to present business reviews at a district, regional and executive level. 

 

Team Development  

• Builds the leadership capabilities of the Beauty Team through coaching and feedback; partners with Store Leadership to address development needs and elevate engagement/retention.  

 

• Ensures partnership with Recruiters, GM and district leader to proactively manage talent pipelines and anticipate staffing needs. 

 

• Works with DM and GM to ensure sales driving coverage is in place at each location without directly owning store level scheduling.  

 

• Provides ongoing support, feedback and mentorship to enhance performance and growth.  

Team Leadership  

 

• Understands and articulates all Beauty and Salon strategies, initiatives and direction directly to district teams on a weekly basis.

  

• Communicate clear goals and align the team with a compelling vision that connects their work to a greater purpose.  

 

• Maintains a consistent and purposeful visit cadence to drive engagement, provide support, and ensure accountability effectively manages time and travel by strategically prioritizing store visits based on performance trends, business opportunities and operational needs- maximizing impact on sales growth team development and overall territory success. 

 

• Attending district and regional calls to deliver clear and concise messages around company initiatives. Encouraging team collaboration with other departments to enhance communication and execution.  

 

Brand Execution  

• Leads beauty and salon teams to effectively execute all business-related strategies including client experience, selling protocols and productivity, merchandise presentation, operational process and event execution.  

 

• Partner with corporate and store teams to resolve operational challenges and implement best practices. 

 

• Embodies and articulates the vision of the brands through all written and oral communications and interactions. 

 

• Influences and coaches Store Partners, Salon Team, Beauty Team and General Manager, to meet standards by reinforcing expectations.   

 

Performance Standards  

• Consistently meets established performance standards for the role, including (but not limited to) product and service sales, client service, profit, productivity, and attendance. 

 

• Demonstrate integrity, accountability, and enthusiasm in daily operations to motivate team members through actions. 

 

• Ensures a strong in store presence to support key business priorities, with an 80/20 role split (80% in store / 20% administrative). Providing in store support during key events, including select weekends and holidays, based on business needs. 

 

• Overnight travel is required 50–75% of the time, depending on business needs and the geographic layout of the territory.
