Territory Manager, Dental – Northern AB and SK
Our client is one of Canada’s leading suppliers of state-of-the-art orthodontic and dental products, technologies, and services and currently hiring a Territory Manager based in Edmonton to manage and grow the business in Northern Alberta and the province of Saskatchewan (30% travel) selling a broad portfolio of orthodontic and dental systems and supplies to clinicians in dental and orthodontic practices. In this outside sales role, you are responsible to achieve sales targets, cold call to establish new business relationships, and maintain and growing existing customer accounts.
Identify business opportunities to grow territory sales by creating and executing an effective sales business plan Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and prospecting, and deliver sales and product training presentations to partners and clients Act as a sales consultant to teach and demonstrate dental/orthodontic products and services Manage the full sales cycle with accounts and close deals by negotiating prices and terms of sale with customers Conduct Lunch and Learns and Study Clubs within territory, and attend and/or facilitate appropriate courses, conventions, and tradeshows Complete sales and CRM reporting to ensure customer information is up-to-date and accurateQualified candidates possess 2-4 years of medically related sales experience, a bachelor’s degree preferably in a science focused discipline, with a driven and self-motivated sales personality and keen interest for the dental sciences with aptitude to advance through a highly technical training program and become an industry sales expert. Compensation includes a salary of $65-75K and commission plan with $100K target income, plus car allowance and gas, cell phone, travel expenses, and health benefits.
