PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Terminal Technician to support terminal operations in Cedar City, Utah. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience in pipeline systems, product accountability, and field operations who are ready to take ownership of critical infrastructure and safety standards.
About the Role
As a Terminal Technician, you’ll conduct associate-level operations and assignments for the Pipeline Department. Working independently most of the time, you’ll ensure safe and efficient product movement, equipment functionality, and compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities Manage product receipts and deliveries at the terminal, ensuring quality and accuracy. Operate and monitor equipment, including truck loading racks and tank lineups. Perform quality control checks and troubleshoot operational issues. Represent company policy to truck drivers, contractors, and third parties. Maintain terminal balance (barrels in/barrels out) and ensure product accountability. Prove meters for accuracy and locate underground pipelines using instrumentation. Generate and distribute daily operational reports. Respond to “dig test” one-call system alerts and dispatch as needed. Perform basic repairs on equipment. Follow written procedures and adhere to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. At least 2 years of on-the-job experience in pipeline or related operations. Basic knowledge of pipeline systems and DOT safety regulations. Intermediate math, reading, and writing skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Valid state driver’s license and proof of insurance. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Experience managing contractors and customer representatives on-site. Pay Details: $24.00 per hour
