This role has a current pay range of $29.79/hr - $45.05/hr. The listed pay range represents the company’s good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base rate of pay for this position at the time of this posting. The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on their work location, qualifications, relevant experience, operational needs, demonstrated performance over time, and internal pay alignment.

Summary: 

Under general supervision of Terminal Supervisor, the Terminal Operator is responsible for operating all Terminal equipment in connection with receiving, storing, transferring, and loading of refined petroleum products in a reliable and efficient manner while in compliance with the Partnership’s procedures and regulatory requirements.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this position are listed below:

Gauge storage tanks and take meter readings for all products on a daily basisProvide top-tier customer service to commercial and operations customer representativesCalculate and input all product inventories and meter readings into appropriate systemsPerform daily and monthly reconciliation of product inventories and thru-putsPerform facility maintenance on office building, assets, vegetation, as neededPerform the safe loading of petroleum products onto trucks and receive products from pipelinesTravel to various refined products and crude facilities with little notice to effectively assist terminals across the organizationTake product samples as required and perform/log required Quality control testsPerform and log all scheduled maintenance and compliance inspectionsEnsure that all terminal equipment is functioning properly and report failures to supervisorPerform daily walk around inspections to identify potential risks and ensure good housekeeping standards are maintainedIssue work permits to contractors performing work at the Terminal. This includes ensuring that pre-job safety meetings, lockout - tag-out, confined space entry, and gas tech monitoring requirements are met for all work performed at the TerminalCorrecting or stopping all unsafe acts or conditions not in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures by any party entering the facilityRemain knowledgeable of, and prepared to enact and coordinate the Emergency Response activities until relieved by supervisor or management personnelCommunicate product outages and equipment downtime to supervisor, customers, and other impacted parties in a prompt fashion

 

Required Education:
