Tenders & Buying Group Manager

What You Can Expect

As a Tenders & Buying Group Manager you will work with the Sales Management team and Zimmer Biomet colleagues to manage all pricing and contract activity within your specific region.  You will support with the creation and submission of tenders and pricing proposal designed to meet sales targets, increase growth and market share for Zimmer Biomet across all product segments. You will work with the Commercial Director to formulate and adapt the commercial strategy of the cluster to meet to changing demands of the market.  Part of your responsibilities will be to embrace the ZB ecosystem of solutions strategy and build key relationships with customers at executive level to enable the deployment of our solutions to drive market share and deliver the best in class solutions to our customers and patients.

How You'll Create Impact Consolidation and expansion of the business relationship with defined purchasing groups/clinic chainsCoordination of corporate goals in member clinics of purchasing groups/clinic chains in cooperation with the responsible RSMsSupporting sales activities within the purchasing groups, in individual clinics, at trade fairs or eventsCentral contact person for the defined purchasing groups/clinic chains for the defined business areaNegotiate of conditions agreements (creation of framework agreements, simulation of offers)Coordination of the procedure in member clinics of purchasing groups/clinic chains with the responsible RSMsOrganisation of negotiation results with the sales, bonus and contract management, customer service and sales controlling departments, cross-departmental teamworkParticipation in the implementation of marketing and sales measures Actively participating in regional Sales meetingsDevelopment of an effective benchmark / price strategy for buying groups in coordination with the Pricing team and the BUDInitial, supportive project management / monitoring of negotiation results in coordination with the responsible PM/RMs and coordinated handover to the operational teamWhat Makes You Stand Out Fantastic negotiating skills with the ability to deliver value for Zimmer Biomet and our CustomersHighly flexible enabling you to work effectively in a matrixed environmentA strong customer focusDemonstrable analytical skills with systems experience such as PowerBI or TableauA willingness to undergo further Training & DevelopmentYour Background A degree in Business Studies/Management or other comparable degrees and equivalent experienceSignificant professional experience working across hospitals in a commercial business Prior experience in a Sales or Field Service orinetated position Strong knowledge of the Medical Devices market, in particular OrthopaedicsTravel Expectations This role requires a flexible approach to work as it will require national, and in some instances, international travel.
