This is a temporary position.

 

The Temporary Transmission Garage Mechanic will be expected to perform the following duties:

R&R of automotive transmissions and other vehicle components Installation of instrumentation. Light fabrication Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Take training as directed. Support Coworkers as needed. Maintain skill set in line with product development and engineering needs. Enter required administrative tracking of program information, hours worked, lost time etc.

Basic Qualifications:

Good work management skills. Good communicator. Has proven mechanical skills. Has computer skills. Able to work in a team environment. Able to support overtime as needed. Has standard mechanics tools and a lockable toolbox.

 

Preferred qualifications:

Knowledge of automotive hardware. Vehicle system accreditations. High organizational and planning skills. Has dealership or other vehicle garage experience Good fabrication skills. Very effective communicator.
