About this Role We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Temporary Shop Helper to join our mechanic shop and warehouse team for approximately 2 months. This position will focus heavily on sandblasting our casing until the project is complete. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional shop environment while supporting our team with an important project. What You'll Do + Perform sandblasting on casing and other materials as instructed + Maintain a clean and organized sandblasting area + Assist with general shop and warehouse duties when needed + Move tools, equipment, and materials around the shop + Follow all safety procedures related to sandblasting equipment and shop operations What You'll Bring + Willingness to learn and take direction + Good attitude and strong work ethic + Ability to be on your feet for most of the day and lift up to 50 lbs + Reliability, punctuality, and attention to safety + Ability to work in a dusty, loud environment with proper PPE What You'll Get + Hands-on experience using sandblasting equipment + Opportunity to work alongside experienced shop staff + Supportive and friendly team environment + A valuable steppingstone for future work in trades, mechanics, or industrial settings Compensation Range The anticipated compensation for this position is - depending on experience and qualifications.
