Temporary Office Associate – Petroleum Analyst

OVERVIEW

The analyst will provide temporary support to supplement existing resources through data analysis and industry research. The analyst will support analytics efforts to achieve optimal profitability across the entire store portfolio and product mix. Provides an opportunity to test and develop analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities. This position will be for 4 months.


RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

Assist team members with daily tasks such as data entry, daily reporting, and analysisSupporting the development and maintenance of databases, spreadsheets, and other tools for data analysis and reporting purposesExecute fuel pricing strategiesIdentify opportunities to optimize fuel margin and gallons mixAssist in market/industry researchIdentify and communicate trends in supply, demand, and pricingCollaborate with the Supply, Trading, and Pricing teams on product sources to maximize profitability Staying updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in petroleum supply managementAbility to communicate professionally with employees from all areas of the organization
QUALIFICATIONS

(Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience may be considered)

 

Education

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Science, Economics, Accounting or related field preferred

 

Experience
• Proficiency in Excel preferred
• Experience with Tableau preferred
• No experience required
