Job Description:
Location: Brimfield, Massachusetts
CoWorx Staffing is currently seeking a candidate who is open to a project position as a Manufacturing Engineer for a client located in Brimfield, MA.
This position would be 6-8 months, full-time, Monday-Friday, and a great opportunity to work with an innovative company!
Shift: 8am-5pm M-F
Responsibilities:
Create and implement production ready 4 &5-axis CNC milling programs.
Review and evaluate engineering drawings for potential production impacts.
Review, generate, and revise CAD models to support CAM programming.
Develop tooling, fixtures, and gaging used to optimize the productivity of CNC machining processes.
Provide shop floor support of implemented CNC programs when required.
Communicate effectively within the team to ensure overall project goals are aligned and achieved.
Desired Background/Skills:
Understanding of metals machining, processing, and finishing.
Lean manufacturing and new product development experience.
Basic understanding of GD&T.
Ability to work in a team environment. Good problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and drive initiatives to completion.
Prior CNC machining experience required.
