Job Title: Temporary Machine Operator – Mission Landfill

About the Role:

GFL Environmental is seeking a Temporary Machine Operator to join our team at the Mission Landfill until the end of October. In this role, you will safely operate heavy equipment to support landfill operations while following company and regulatory safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, compactors, and loaders

Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs

Assist with waste placement, grading, and cover application

Follow all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Experience operating heavy equipment (landfill experience an asset)

Safety-focused with strong work ethic

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
