Position Summary: The College of Engineering and Computer Science (CoECS) at Arkansas State University (A-State) invites applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow in Computer Science. This on-campus appointment will begin no later than January 5, 2026. The successful candidate will contribute to both research and instruction in Computer Science, with the potential to support interdisciplinary coursework across CoECS. This position is ideal for individuals seeking to build a career in academia through active engagement in teaching, research and student mentorship. Duties & Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of this position encompass two broad areas: research and teaching. Candidates will be encouraged to engage in both independent and collaborative research projects with our existing faculty whenever possible. Proposal submissions to external funding agencies will be supported and encouraged as part of their research activity. The successful candidate will teach key Computer Science courses, with the possibility of also covering some courses within the Data Science and Data Analytics (DSDA) program. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to collaborating with students and faculty members. As part of the obligations, the hired candidate is also expected to mentor students, especially on research-related activities.
