Job Summary:
A kind and respectful couple based in a lovely home in Holland Park are seeking a reliable and experienced temporary housekeeper to provide support in their home. This is a two-week role from Monday 10th to Friday 21st November, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and can maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming home environment.
The couple are warm and friendly and are looking for someone who can efficiently get on with the job at hand. There are no children or pets in the household, and while the couple will be in and out during the day, the role is largely independent. This is a wonderful opportunity for a professional housekeeper who is polite, hardworking, and able to hit the ground running in a calm and respectful environment.
Job specification:
General daily housekeeping: making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, tidying shared spaces and bedrooms• Laundry and ironing to a high standard
• Light household cleaning and upkeep
• Watering houseplants as needed
• Local grocery shopping and light errands (desirable – local shop is a short walk away)
• Ensuring the home is clean, tidy, and well-maintained throughout the week
Candidate specification:
Prior experience working within a private household• Able to work independently with initiative and efficiency
• Trustworthy, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Discreet, respectful, and professional
• Friendly and approachable, yet able to maintain boundaries and work without supervision
• Flexible and happy to adapt if small tasks arise during the week
