Assignment length: 2 months
Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm
Responsibilities:
-Provide guidance and assistance with Open Enrollment tasks
-Ensure the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS
-Assist employees regarding benefits claim issues and/or benefit plan changes (leave, medical, personal, disability and FMLA)
-Assist employees with carrier feed files and process employee qualifying event/life status changes
-Administer employee leave administration and ensure that associated payroll processes are completed
-Participate in administrative staff meetings, attends other meetings and seminars
-Maintain employee confidence by keeping all information confidential
-Assist with compliance directives regarding federal and state regulations related to employment and business practices
Additional tasks aligned:
-Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing employee benefit data and trends
-Assist with new-hire orientations and internal periodic Total Rewards audits
-Participate in benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, reviewing invoices for payment, and monthly reconciliations
-Track and monitor employee non-work-related injuries as well as guide the interactive process
-Track ACA compliance requirements including 1095 accuracy and preparation
-Effectively interpret FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities
-Conduct job evaluation and review of new and/or existing roles. Partner with HR and management to gather information and communicate results
-Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals
-Maintain HRIS benefit records and compiles reports from database
