Job Title: Temporary, Fine Arts

Reports to: Fine Arts Department

Dept./School: Fine Arts

Primary Purpose: Provide support for events held by the Fine Arts Department.

Minimum Education/Certification:

High school Diploma

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Skills Knowledge of public school operations Office skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Basic theatre knowledge Good with large crowds

Experience:

Work with public school children

 

Safety:

Operate tools and equipment according to prescribed safety procedures Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing and carrying Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to the immediate supervisor

Tools/Equipment Used: Classroom materials and resources, personal computers and peripherals, theatre equipment and tools, scissor lift Posture: Climbing, stooping, bending, and kneeling Motion: Frequent use of hand movements Lifting: Regular lifting and carrying of 15-20 pounds; occasional heavy lifting and carrying of 45 pounds and over Environment: Irregular hours Mental Demands: High use of concentration, communication, and reasoning; must be able to understand verbal and written instructions and interpret, analyze and memorize; maintain emotional control under stressful conditions
