**Job Summary:** Waste Connections is seeking dedicated and proactive individuals to join our team as Temporary Live Chat Agents. This role involves handling customer and sales inquiries via our Live Assistance Station, an initiative aimed at evaluating its effectiveness as a customer communication channel and generating commercial sales leads.
**T** **he dedicated shift is 11-8 remotely. However, you'll need to be in the office one week a month. The in-office shifts will either be 6-3, 7-4, 8-5, or 9-6. You'll receive a schedule in advance so you're aware of the week and the schedule.**
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Respond to customer and sales inquiries exclusively via Live Chat.
+ Operate within the Live Chat application for an 8 hour shift.
+ Utilize our proprietary web applications to gather necessary information.
+ Forward all actionable items to Districts via ACE and email.
+ Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in all interactions.
+ Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and efficient communication.
**Qualifications:**
+ Previous experience in customer service or sales, preferably in a remote or live chat environment.
+ Must be flexible and available to work 8-hour shifts scheduled between 6:00AM to 8:00PM. A rotating monthly shift schedule will be provided in advance.
+ Strong written communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
+ Proficiency with basic computer operations and familiarity with live chat software.
+ Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
