TEMP - Senior Manager, Sync Services & Partnerships

Your Mission
The 5 month temporary position in within BMG’s dynamic and growing sync services and partnerships team, specifically focused on film & TV creative pitching across all of BMG’s global repertoire and current releases. Success in this role depends on a well-established network of contacts in the music licensing, and Film/TV music supervisor communities, the ability to maintain current business opportunities, strong communication and organizational skills, and working closely and collaboratively across teams internally to execute pitching strategy. 

 

What You'll Be Doing

Effectively execute sync strategy as determined by Film & TV lead. Work collaboratively with team members to align efforts and achieve business objectives. Pitch BMG’s writer/artist clients and catalogue repertoire to film and TV music teams, filmmakers, music supervisors and music editors for music licensing placements. Support the sync team in maintaining and building of internal client database as well as all assets needed for pitching/executing sync opportunities. Maintain a high level of customer service with BMG’s existing clients. Proactively reach out to music supervisors on behalf of BMG’s sync team to maintain good client relations and assist in creative direction in order to aid procurements. Attend internal writer/artist meetings, and BMG writer/artist events and showcases as requested.  Stay updated on current market trends in media by listening, watching and engaging in client + artist meetings, watching films/tv/commercials/games. Exhibit thorough knowledge of releases and imperative info for BMG’s recorded and published roster and catalogue assets and initiatives. Ensure all client interactions are accurately logged and tracked on all internal systems. Monitor client production schedules, new commissions, and upcoming projects to identify potential opportunities for BMG Film & TV sync team

 

What You Bring

Prior employment in the music business, preferably with a publisher, label, management, or agency, with experience in the sync licensing space. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Thorough understanding of recording and publishing rights  Knowledge of current music trends across media. Strong follow-up and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to interface with high-level personnel. Comfortable working in a fast-paced/high-volume environment Well-organized with close attention to detail

Pay Range
$90,000-$100,000 annually 

The pay range listed above is dependent upon factors such as work experience, qualifications and business needs.
