Job Summary:

My client is a lovely family of 4 looking to hire a Nanny into their household for one day a week on a temporary period with a view of potentially going permanent. The family consists of mum, dad and their two boys who are 5 months and 3 years old.

The role will consist of sole charge Nanny duties on the Monday for the two boys, the eldest goes to morning nursery so it will be collecting him and then being with them all day in a sole charge capacity as mum works. They are looking for a friendly, warm and experienced Nanny who is super confident with childcare.

The current arrangement is that the boys go to nursery three days per week on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, so the Nanny will be there on the Monday as both mum and dad work. They had a maternity nurse previously, but as the youngest is now getting older they would be looking for a Nanny. They would be open to the Nanny coming in on an ad hoc basis on Fridays once the role goes permanent and if they are a great fit.

Job specification:

•          Sole charge Nanny duties

•          Getting the children up and ready for the day

•          Cooking them fresh and healthy meals

•          Collection from nursery and taking to any age appropriate activities

•          Muck in attitude with housekeeping, unloading dishwasher and ensuring the house is tidy

•          Following the daily routine

•          Providing updates to mum and dad on the children

Candidate specification:

•          3+ previous years experience in a private household

•          Friendly, warm and neutering individual, loves children

•          Incredible references and recommendations

•          Looking for Monday work

Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
