Assist the Manager of Alcohol & Drug Addiction Services with overall supervision and guidance of support staff.

Responsibilities Answer telephone and assist callers as needed, complete client “initial screening sheet” and file for future use and review.If applicable, assist the night nurse with client care – ie alert clients when needed by the nurse for vital checks and medications.Prepare client meal list daily, issue client meal tickets, secure meals for clients confined to the Detox floor. Ready clients for breakfast, escort to dining room, if needed.Complete daily “team leader” report, fine in Manager’s mailbox.Coordinate cleanliness of client rooms, bathrooms, day room and common areas on the Detox floor.Complete laundry and clothes washing as needed.Complete filing of client records – yellow and white cards on top of the filing cabinetOther duties as designated by the ADAS manager and/or Executive Director Qualifications High School diploma or GEDMust be able to routinely lift and carry boxes weighing 50 pounds or more.Must be able to use stairs, when necessary, for building evacuations, drills or during elevator maintenance.Read and write legibly. Good communication skills.Current CPR/First Aid certification or in process of obtaining.Effective in dealing with the public and/or dealing with intoxicated individuals
