We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Telecommunications Analyst to become a part of our team. The successful candidate will be tasked with the design and support of the company’s telecom infrastructure and its related software, providing support to end users on systems and products, monitoring traffic and performance, and resolving issues to ensure that Marsh & McLennan enjoys uninterrupted and effective telecom services
We will count on you to:
Provides daily Unified Communications support with such things as voicemail, operational support, administration, and requests.Acts as a single point of contact for local offices for telecom requests.Setups network switches, hubs, and polycoms for training and conferences.Patches and assists with connectivity for servers, routers etc.Performs on-site end user support.Performs daily health checks.Works Service Now tickets and Change Order Tasks assigned to TO, which includes interacting with the local offices and vendors to resolve issues requiring vendor intervention.Places orders through vendor portals.Provides first-line support to end users and problem resolution.Certifies daily platform functionality, fault tolerance, system integration and integrity.Maintains systems resiliency through documented best practices and schedules.Certifies, recommends and implements preventative maintenance and system upgrades.Maintains current releases to comply with vendor support requirements.Maintains a secure environment following the standards put forth by MMC Tech security.Manages and / or assists senior engineers in application patching and system upgrades.Manages vendor best practice for application/system reboots and vendor service requests.Performs the reboot and system certifications based on best practices, policies and proceduresManages vendor 3rd party application upgrades and reboots to assure they comply with MMC best practices, schedules and certifications.Develops and maintains operational information and documentation.Responsible for billing reconciliation, centralized invoice reconciliation, client and internal chargebacks.Creates and performs system maintenance schedule for PBX/IPT/VM systems.Coordinates physical moves of Unified Communication equipment with Regional Technology Managers for small office moves.Provides afterhours and weekend support for planned maintenance, emergency troubleshooting, break/fix, and potential/severity 1 incidences as part of a rotating schedule within the voice operations group.What you need to have:
2 years + experience in telecommunications or telephonyExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of mobile phone technologies and industry trends is a plus.English languageWhat makes you stand out?
