**About the role**
+ Our End-User Services team is integrated in the Digital Technology (DT) department.
+ As a Telecom & Voice Engineer, you will ensure the robustness, scalability, and efficiency of the organization’s telecommunication and voice systems by designing, managing, and maintaining solutions that enable seamless communication.
+ You will be accountable for:
+ Designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunication and voice infrastructure, including VoIP systems and PBXs.
+ Ensuring high availability and performance of telecom services to support business operations.
+ Monitoring telecom systems and resolving incidents to minimize downtime.
+ Identifying, managing and addressing the VoiP and mobile connectivity demand.
+ Collaborating with IT (e.g., DT Site Support Engineers) and business teams to implement voice solutions that meet organizational needs.
+ Managing vendor relationships and service agreements for telecom hardware and services.
+ Ensuring compliance with security policies and regulatory standards for telecom systems.
+ Supporting integration projects involving telecom and voice technologies, such as cloud-based solutions.
+ Developing and maintaining documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
+ Staying informed on trends and advancements in telecom and voice technologies to recommend improvements.
+ We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working mode.
**About you**
+ Relevant education degree or equivalent in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a comparable field.
+ Relevant work experience in Telecom Systems Management or Voice Communication Engineering.
+ Competencies:
+ Expert in designing, configuring, and maintaining telecommunication systems and voice networks to ensure reliable and high-quality communication services.
+ Deep knowledge of voice over IP (VoIP) technologies and protocols, such as SIP, H.323, and RTP, to support modern communication systems.
+ Extensive expertise in managing telecom platforms, including Cisco Unified Communications, Avaya, or Microsoft Teams, for enterprise environments.
+ Advanced proficiency in troubleshooting and optimizing telecom and voice systems to ensure seamless connectivity and performance.
+ Experienced in integrating telecom systems with other IT infrastructure, including networks, collaboration tools, and cloud platforms.
+ Proficient in implementing security measures, such as encryption and access controls, to safeguard voice and telecommunication systems.
+ Adept at managing vendor relationships and contracts to ensure cost-effective and reliable telecom services.

**About the pay and benefits**
+ Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country (Portugal) base pay reasonably expected for this role is 35 600 euros to 48 700 euros, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
