Responsibilities Project management and client relationship of multiple projects/clients including project scheduling, client communication, business development and repeat business. Obtain Professional Engineering license in applicable states relevant to project assignments. Preparation of proposals including project scope, schedule, and man-hour budgets. Responsible for financial management of projects including preparing proposals and pricing, defining scope of work, managing budgets, profitability and scope creep, submitting invoices, facilitating payment, and sub-contractor management. Review, approve, sign and seal structural and/or A&E deliverables to ensure all project work is performed and completed in accordance with QA/QC standards, as well as federal, state and local codes and ordinances. Attend public hearings, meetings, and any other presentations related to assigned projects. Coordinate and communicate effectively with all employees involved in the project to ensure high utilization rates, including holding internal milestone and post production meetings. Communicate to senior leadership best practices and participate in discipline and/or division initiatives. Assist with mentoring junior staff in learning sound technical and business practices and enhancing corporate objectives. Adhere to health and safety program and all applicable SOPs. Oversee the activities of assigned staff, including but not limited to timesheet review and approval, performance evaluation and daily supervision. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required. 7+ years of engineering experience, including civil/site design, with a focus in telecommunications is preferred. PE license is required. Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Ability to travel to project sites and client meetings as needed. Ability to balance competing high priorities and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment. Ability to maintain and build effective business relationships. Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions. Requires a pre-employment drug screen.
