OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and motivated Telecom Engineer I to join our team. The ideal candidate will have one to two years of experience in the telecommunications industry and a passion for innovation and problem-solving. As a Telecom Engineer, you will work closely with our senior engineers to design, implement, and maintain telecommunications systems for our clients. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a variety of technologies and develop your skills in areas such as UCaaS systems like RingCentral, and CCaaS systems like NICE InContact
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:
Assist in the design and implementation of RingCentral MVP builds for our locations. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of telecommunications equipment and systems.Collaborate with senior engineers to identify and address technical issues and optimize system performance.Assist with the installation and configuration of telecommunications hardware and software.Provide technical support to clients and end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving connectivity issues.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in telecommunications technology.Document technical procedures and system configurations.Assist in the preparation of project plans, schedules, and budgets. QualificationsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.One to two years of experience in the telecommunications industry.Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.Experience with VoIP systems and telecommunications equipment (e.g., routers, switches, PBX systems).Familiarity with software tools for network monitoring and troubleshooting.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
