**Job Description**
We are seeking a talented and innovative Telecom Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Mumbai, India. As a key member of our telecommunications engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing and optimizing network infrastructure to meet our clients' evolving needs.
+ Performs specific and moderate portions of broader engineering assignments under limited supervision.
+ Gathers, analyzes, and correlates basic engineering data using established procedures.
+ Works on detailed and routine ELV/ICT engineering tasks involving calculations and simple tests.
+ Proposes solutions to new problems using modified standard procedures and past design experience.
+ Independently performs primary design elements for assigned ELV and ICT works.
+ Identifies discrepancies in design results, drawings, and site conditions.
+ Supports the design, review, and coordination of ELV and ICT systems for buildings and infrastructure projects.
+ Prepares and reviews drawings, layouts, and technical submittals using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
+ Coordinates closely with BIM Modelers for accurate design preparation and clash resolution.
+ Interfaces with CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) teams for spatial and services coordination.
+ Supports planning and design of duct banks, telecom rooms/spaces, racks, containment, and pathways.
+ Reviews BOQs, vendor datasheets, and technical proposals for compliance with specifications.
+ Assists in site inspections and supervises installation activities to ensure quality and compliance.
+ Supports testing, commissioning, and handover of ELV/ICT systems. Ensures compliance with applicable standards (TIA, BICSI, IEEE, and local codes).
+ Monitors contractor work quality, progress, safety, and material compliance on-site.
+ Maintains technical documentation, reports, and as-built drawings.
+ Supports systems including structured cabling, fiber optics, CCTV, access control, and PA systems.
+ Participates in client meetings and technical workshops.
+ Performs work in accordance with agreed budgets, schedules, and project timelines.
+ Provides technical guidance and coordination support to junior engineers and BIM teams.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering.
