**Job Description:**
Completes routine tasks for the support function of the Manufacturing Process Improvement unit, following administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.
Supports business functions and plants in mapping their work processes and identifies opportunities for improvement.
Reviews manufacturing activities for time studies to identify opportunities for process improvements.
Follows direction of Business Excellence engineers to support cost, yield, cycle time, and space optimization.
Observes safety, quality and efficiency measures to support problem solving resolution, follow-up and follow through.
Documents and shares report summaries of operational performance standards and expectations.

**We are searching for the best talent for PRODUCTION SUPPORT TECHNICIAN II (SEGUNDO TURNO) to be in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.**
**You will be responsible for:**
o Provides solutions to the problems in manufacturing of current and new models.
o Performs basic operational diagnostics test. Solves problems and disconnects components,
subassemblies and manufacturing systems, processes and equipment with the purpose of
isolating failures, determine the solution and perform the necessary trainings.
o Analyses the non-conformant product in the production line; determines the root cause and
proposes corrective actions working as a team with the manufacturing supervisor and with the
engineering and quality departments.
o Starts, adjusts and operates basic laboratory and manufacturing equipment.
o Performs simple tests to the processes/products, as well as audits in compliance with quality
and/or other regulatory requirements.
o Conducts tests and basic evaluations, experimental tests and design proposal researches under
operational conditions. Records the procedures and results of the tests, as well as the numeric
and graphical data for its revision by Operations.
o Can provide recommendations and technical support in new projects, process improvements
and quality investigations.
o Can support the diagnostic and analysis for product customer complaints; perform the
awareness session for the operators and determines the root cause and proposes correction
and corrective actions working as a team with the manufacturing supervisor, and with the
engineering, quality and failure analysis laboratory departments.
o Can support the solutions to problems referring to the product in question; evaluating systems,
components and electrical or testing equipment.
o Can support the solution to problems referring to the product Customer Complaints; evaluating
systems, components and electrical or testing equipment.
o Provides support to operators, group leaders and trainers, in areas related to the discipline.
o Performs inspections to his/her own work.
o Follows standardized procedures while performing his/her tasks, when applicable.
o Follows the Convenient Information Retention Administration Policies of J&J and of the
Campus, record retention program, training and education, Document Retention Notices,
Record cleanup, inactive records and Information Management, Vital Records if applicable.
o Other responsibilities can be assigned and not all the responsibilities listed here must be
assigned.
o Has completed the environment and safety training, appropriate for his/her discipline.
o Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management
level
o Responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety
and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good
condition
o Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and
Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
o Performs other duties assigned as needed.
· Under direct supervision, performs tests and analyses product, supports research and provides feedback to the associates of the failure analysis.
· Develops reports in PowerPoint and presents the action plan to management.

**Requirements:**
**Education:**
Technical career studies or equivalent, high school or truncated career.
The years of experience can be replaced/equivalent to a completed professional career.
· 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position, group leader position and/or training related to the position preferably.
· At least 2 years of experience in the products manufactured by Biosense Webster or similar products.
· One year of experience as Production Support Technician preferably.
· Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices, and procedures.
· Knowledge to audit production processes.
· Able to enter data on spread sheet and database applications.
· Basic Knowledge of Problem Solving and Failure Analysis.
· Knowledge of Product Customer Complaints investigation.

· Ability for the resolution of failures, in aspects or areas of manufacturing.
· Ability to integrate to work groups.
· Knowledge of the product manufactured by the Company.
· Ability to use measuring and testing equipment associated to the specific discipline.
· Basic ability to read and understand technical documentation associated to the specific discipline.
· Capacity to successfully complete the departmental/corporate courses of training in manufacturing techniques.
· Ability to learn about regulatory requirements (GMP and GDP).
· Ability to use computers and related software.
