Unitec - Otis Parts Company is looking for a highly motivated Technical Sales Product Engineer to deliver exceptional support to our customers and offer technical guidance to our sales team. Reporting to the Director of Unitec, you will work collaboratively in a team environment to provide technical assistance to our customers and contribute to Unitec's growth initiatives. This role offers mentorship, training, and development opportunities within a dynamic and expanding organization. You'll be part of a cohesive team that will both utilize and challenge your elevator knowledge and product expertise, presenting an outstanding opportunity for professional advancement.

Working at the Otis North American Service Center, this position offers a unique chance to deepen your field and elevator knowledge, enhance your Otis Engineering skills, and refine your business, technical, and communication abilities. This role provides an excellent overview of Operations, paving the way for future career growth opportunities.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

On a typical day you will:

Provide engineering support, to the Unitec team to assist customers in identifying parts and solutions for their existing equipment using layouts, wiring diagrams, photos, and surveys.

Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and document technical topics in an easy-to-understand manner; this will empower reps to quickly respond to customers on a wide range of topics.

Offer product support, assist with the implementation of new products, and obsolescence solutions for Unitec customers through collaboration with Otis Engineering.

Support annual sales goals and promote digitization with parts sales to the external customer base. 

Ability to work in fast paced environment and prioritize tasks.

What You Will Need to be Successful:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related industry work experience

Minimum of 1+ years of relevant industry work experience

Experience in the elevator industry is favorable

Strong customer focus, with a passion for solving technical problems and conducting product research

Desired: Knowledge of elevator and escalator components to effectively consult customers and provide solutions

Highly motivated and forward-thinking, with a strong commitment to continuous learning

Goal-oriented and self-motivated, capable of managing multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously

Comfortable in a technical environment, with attention to detail and a strong desire to solve problems
