As a Technology Support III team member in Chief Technology Office team, you will ensure the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement as you troubleshoot, maintain, identify, escalate, and resolve production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems, leading to a seamless user experience.
Job responsibilities
Provides end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations of the firmSupports the day-to-day maintenance of the firm’s systems to ensure operational stability and availabilityAssist in the monitoring of production environments for anomalies and address issues utilizing standard observability toolsIdentify issues for escalation and communication, and provide solutions to the business and technology stakeholdersAnalyze complex situations and trends to anticipate and solve incident, problem, and change management in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructureRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on Technology Support concepts and 3+ years applied experienceProficient in platform skills across Linux, UNIX, and Windows, with extensive knowledge in application and middleware support.Experience in automation and configuration tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.Hands on programming languages including Python and Java.Managing critical application outages in large-scale operations, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing remediation strategies.Experienced in instrumentation, monitoring, alerting, and responding to performance and availability issues using tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and Splunk.Proficient with Jenkins, GIT, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile and Scrum methodologiesPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages and/or automation scriptingUnderstanding of concepts and principles behind DevOps and SRE.Knowledge of Cloud Engineering & understanding of private cloud principles and exposure to public cloud offerings such as AWS/Azure/Google cloud or similar technology is preferred
