Technology Support II - LATAM Payments

As a Technology Support II team member in Commercial & Investment Banking Payments Technology, you will play a vital role in ensuring the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. Your efforts in troubleshooting, maintaining, identifying, escalating, and resolving production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems support a seamless user experience and a culture of continuous improvement.

Job responsibilities

Analyze and troubleshoot production application flows to ensure end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery supporting the business operations of the firmImprove operational stability and availability through participation in problem managementMonitor production environments for anomalies and address issues utilizing standard observability toolsAssist in the escalation and communication of issues and solutions to the business and technology stakeholdersIdentify trends and assist in the management of incidents, problems, and changes in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Basic knowledge in the following key areas: hardware architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), hardware benchmarking (program management, network management), design (compliance, security), network engineering (planning, provision)Automate routines to optimize application’s monitoringInvestigate and document issues’ root causes engaging technologists all over the worldEngage with other technology teams during the SDLC and change management processKnowledge in one of programming languages (Java, SQL, Python) and databases (SQL, ORACLE) for troubleshootingBasic knowledge of cloud architectureBasic understanding of business technology drivers and their impact on architecture design, performance and monitoring, best practices2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology servicesKnowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment on premises or public cloud and exposure to observability and monitoring tools and techniquesFamiliarity with processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Fluency in English is required, and read/write in Spanish and/or Portuguese would be an added advantageKnowledge of SQL, Python or others programing languages, Pentaho Data Integration, Control-M, AutoSys, iTRS, Geneos, JiraUnderstanding of RPA (Robot Process Automation), DEVOPS, Agile, ITILWillingness to learn and work in the financial marketsAmazon AWS certification is a plus
