The Technology Specialist (Warehouse Management) is part of the D&T Customer Service & Logistics Team (Supply Chain) and is one of the professionals who is supporting the Warehouse Excellence Program to deliver the digitized solutions to our Business.

 

The Technology Specialist (Warehouse Management) reports into the D&T Logistics Manager – Warehouse Management for Customer Services & Logistics and ensures that all IT services consumed by Users are delivered within agreed performance and satisfaction levels.

 

This role requires a solid understanding and practical experience in SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ECC (SD, LE, MM) and Transportation Management (Oracle TM, SAP TM) systems.

 

Your responsibilities would include:

 

collaborating with business: working closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translating them into effective technological solutions for logistics collaborating with project: leveraging expertise in SAP Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP Transportation Management system (TM) and collaborating with SAP S/4 HANA implementation team configuring and customizing the system: leading the design, configuration, and standardization of logistics systems to meet complex business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise systems, aligned to architectural standards, design and quality enhancing the system: identifying opportunities for system enhancements and leading the implementation of new functionalities, upgrades, and innovations to maintain state-of-the-art logistics operations improving processes: collaborating with business stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement and implementing solutions to drive efficiency and effectiveness in logistics operations monitoring performance: establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate logistics performance, conducting regular audits and analyses to identify areas for improvement collaborating with Product Architects on the solution design to ensure it conforms to overall architectural vision and technical roadmap maintaining awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, and technology best practices; evaluating them for applicability closely collaborating with system integrators and other suppliers enabling them to coordinate and deliver agreed scope and deliverables

 

You are a good candidate if you have:

 

have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Logistics, or a related field have 6-8 years of experience in SAP, with a proven track record of leading large-scale projects and initiatives have experience in configuration / development of SAP Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or SAP Transportation Management system (TM) have relevant certifications in logistics technology (SAP S/4 HANA, SAP EWM or SAP TM) (preferred) have experience in SAP S/4 HANA implementation have experience of working in public cloud environment have an innovative mindset with a focus on leveraging new technologies and methodologies to drive continuous improvement have excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing): ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical people are a team player and you are able to work effectively at all levels of the product teams with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus have the ability to be analytically and quantitatively strong, highly structured, a fast learner have the ability to work independently, taking ownership and lead when/where asked and needed have excellent written and verbal English
