This role is part of the Robotics & Automation Product team (R&A team). The R&A team is the central team that is responsible for the overall governance and adoption of the automation platforms UiPath and Power Automate. This also includes security and maintenance, and developing global solutions and the implementation of strategic Global solutions for HEINEKEN. Next to the central R&A team, the organisation is growing the adoption of the platform with federated Automation teams globally placed in different HEINEKEN operational companies, and an extensive community of citizen developers.
The key role of an Automation Business Analyst revolves around bridging the gap between business needs and automation solutions. You play a critical role in identifying opportunities for process optimization, analysing business requirements, and ensuring the successful implementation of automation tools.
The R&A team is part of the Hyperautomation Tribe. This Tribe has more Business Analyst: in other Product Teams (Low-Code platforms and Cognitive Services) and the Hyperautomation Competence Centre. Collaboration between these teams and Business Analysts is what is making Hyperautomation successful.
Your responsibilities would include:
proactively communicating and collaborating with external and internal business stakeholders to produce functional requirements for new solutions
supporting the Product Owner in translating functional requirements into solutions and participating in process development
understanding business requirements, assessing their complexity, and translating and maintaining process design documentation while communicating functional and process changes
ensuring the product design and implementation adhere to functional requirements and HEINEKEN standards and best practices such as quality, architecture, compliance and security
delivering working product enhancements within allocated timescales and quality standards that minimize rework and promote a zero-defect culture
collaborating with Product Architects on solution design to ensure alignment with the overall architectural vision and technical roadmap
conducting continuous improvement analysis on existing application architectures and identifying architectural optimizations
verifying the implementation to ensure the delivered system is consistent with the agreed architecture and meets requirements
helping federated teams by advising on solution approaches and supporting remote teams with their work
enabling self-service capabilities as much as possible for federated teams
contributing collectively to the Product Team by delivering user stories and supporting the product increment
continuously being aware of HEINEKEN security requirements and ensuring all ongoing improvements align with these requirements
ensuring support, maintenance and continuous improvement through partners and service management
ensuring optimum performance, availability and security in accordance with security standards and policies
participating in all team agile ceremonies including daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, refinement and retrospectives.
You are a good candidate if you have:bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field
minimum of 3 years of experience in Automation and a minimum of 5 years in IT
experience working with UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform or another automation platform
exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with a highly structured approach to problem-solving
proven ability to collaborate effectively within product teams, with a talent for influencing others toward consensus
ability to understand and navigate multiple stakeholder perspectives while fostering an open and inclusive environment for idea-sharing
fluency in English, with excellent written and spoken skills.

awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends, with the ability to evaluate their relevance and applicability
experience working in a federated enterprise organization
experience working in an Agile environment
strong understanding of related technologies, such as OCR, LLM, and Machine Learning.
