Reads requests for proposals to understand customer requirements. Leads cost-gathering meetings with technical staff to discuss level-of-effort, software solutions, infrastructure, and telephony solutions needed, while guiding the development of appropriate assumptions lists, risks and their mitigation strategies. Serves as an integral member of the opportunity capture team, representing the technical perspective on opportunities, negotiating and defending the determined technical approaches. Prepares and delivers multi-faceted opportunity summaries with costs, risks, and assumptions, following corporate standards and guidelines. Partners with Business and Technology leadership teams to lead the technology pursuit, technology product analysis, technology product roadmap definition, and strategic technology, initiatives (IP models, agreements, efficiencies, competitor analysis etc.) in a collaborative and results-oriented fashion. Assesses technology portion’s opportunity, solution alignment, and risk prior to obtaining bid / no-bid approval from appropriate technology and business leaders, based upon opportunity’s risk and compliance to company strategy. Leads, organizes, and quarterbacks efforts to create cohesive technology solutions, bid estimates, responses, presentations, and Statements of Works (SOWs) in compliance with established technology review criteria.
