Job Description

Position is for a Senior Support member on the DevOps Team with experience supporting and integrating various DevOps/Developer Productivity tools. The DevOps team supports multiple CI-CD tools and is a highly integrated, complex environment.

Once on-boarding is completed, the person will maintain a partnerships/working relationships to proactively support processes and tools as appropriate to continue maximizing the value of the service to the application teams and the business clients they support. This person will proactively research, test and implement additional tools of value to the overall DevOps Framework in support of the application teams and the DevOps Service.

Responsibilities

Systems Engineers are responsible for designing, implementing and supporting a set of Highly Available tools to ensure peak performance and integration across tools as well as interfacing with the application development teams to assist them in determining the most efficient and value-added method for using the tools/services. In addition, to these consultative activities, the Systems Engineer will work with the application teams, internal DevOps sub-teams, technology partners, and all relevant teams to on-board the application teams and their applications into the DevOps Service offerings. They will develop, architect, integrate and support the integrated system and components.

Education -Any PG, UGCertifications If Any- noneExperience Range-10-12 years

Foundational Skills

Build/Deploy Tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Bit Bucket, Artifactory, XLR, SonarSystems support and analysis experienceExperience in administration or development of CI-CD tools - including Bit Bucket, Artifactory, Jenkins, Ansible Tower, XLR and SonarExperience working with Enterprise Linux and MS Windows Server (preferred) in an administrative capacityExperience with WebSphere or tomcat administrationExperience in technical Systems architecture & designStrong Production Support experience with ability to independently triage incidents, provide detailed root cause analysis along with Change/Problem Management experienceExposure and familiarity with application development lifecycle methodologiesAbility to effectively communicate/present to all levels of the organization, including executive managementWilling to work in flexible shifts and on weekends/holidays (with comp-offs)
