**Your role and responsibilities**
As an IBM Technology Seller, also referred to as a Technology Sales Leader, you will drive the Technology strategy with customers, focused around winning the platform and translating customer needs. You will serve as the customer's strategic advisor to translate the customer's requirements into the right cross-Technology architecture. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Develop Account Plans: Generate account plans and determine areas for IBM Technology revenue growth by engaging the appropriate IBM and Ecosystem teams, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
• Identify Business Opportunities: Identify, assess, and close new and existing business opportunities across the portfolio for assigned accounts, driving revenue growth and increasing customer satisfaction.
• Build Trusted Relationships: Grow trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders on multiple levels through visibility and frequent presence, understanding their business and industry needs.
• Provide Strategic Guidance: Serve as a strategic advisor to customers, translating their requirements into the right cross-Technology architecture and providing guidance on critical technology decision points.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
• Technology Strategy Development: Experience with developing and driving technology strategies with customers, focused on winning platforms and translating customer needs into actionable plans.
• Cross-Technology Architecture: Experience in designing and implementing cross-technology architectures that meet customer requirements and drive business growth.
• Opportunity Identification: Experience with identifying, assessing, and closing new and existing business opportunities across a portfolio of products or services.
• Strategic Advisory: Experience serving as a strategic advisor to customers, providing guidance on critical technology decision points and translating customer requirements into effective solutions.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience working with clients across various industries, with a deep understanding of their business needs and challenges.
