**Your role and responsibilities**
As a Brand Sales Specialist for IBM's Apptio Portfolio, you will create demand and progress opportunities to close for Apptio solutions, including Cloudability, ApptioOne, and Targetprocess. You will drive sales growth and expansion by leveraging your expertise in Apptio's automation platform. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Drive Demand Creation: Develop and execute strategies to create demand for Apptio solutions, identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities to drive revenue growth.
• Progress Opportunities: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and progress opportunities through the sales cycle, ultimately closing deals and driving business expansion.
• Solution Positioning: Position Apptio solutions, including Cloudability, ApptioOne, and Targetprocess, to meet client needs and deliver value-driven outcomes.
• Opportunity Management: Manage and prioritize sales opportunities, ensuring effective pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
• Client Engagement: Engage with clients to build relationships, understand their business challenges, and provide solutions that address their needs.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
• Deep Expertise in Apptio Solutions: Experience with Apptio's automation platform, including Cloudability, ApptioOne, and Targetprocess, with the ability to position these solutions to meet client needs and deliver value-driven outcomes.
• Proven Sales Growth Strategies: Experience in developing and executing strategies to create demand for technology solutions, driving sales growth and expansion through effective pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
• Solution Selling Expertise: Experience with solution selling methodologies, with the ability to collaborate with clients to understand their needs and progress opportunities through the sales cycle.
• Complex Sales Cycle Management: Experience in managing and prioritizing multiple sales opportunities, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and close deals.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience working in the technology industry, with knowledge of industry trends and market dynamics related to Apptio solutions.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
• Technology Industry Acumen: Experience working in the technology industry with knowledge of industry trends and market dynamics related to Apptio solutions, enabling informed sales strategies and effective client engagement.
• Solution Selling Methodologies: Familiarity with solution selling methodologies to collaborate with clients, understand their needs, and progress opportunities through the sales cycle, driving business expansion and revenue growth.
• Complex Sales Cycles: Exposure to managing and prioritizing multiple sales opportunities, navigating complex sales cycles, and closing deals to drive sales growth and expansion.
