**Your role and responsibilities**
As a Brand Technical Specialist you'll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM's industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.

•Storage Strategy Creation: Creating client strategies for storage solutions.
•Enhanced Storage Solutions: Defining IBM storage options to improve existing technology.
•Proof of Concept Delivery: Providing proofs of concept and simplifying technical topics for client understanding.
•Complex Cloud Deal Closure: Building trust to successfully close complex cloud tech deals.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
* Effective Communication and Relationship-Building: Successful communication and relationship-building in enterprise and SMB environments.
* Pre-sales Expertise: Experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or consulting, working with client subject matter experts to scope and demo solutions.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills and a passion for Storage technologies.
* Sales Success: Track record of success in Technology Sales.
* Experience: 5 years of experience in Information Technology, storage administration, or a relevant field
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Comprehensive Understanding of the Storage Market: Possess a solid knowledge of the Storage market, enabling you to consult and advise, and swiftly build your reputation as a credible, trusted advisor for your clients (training on IBM's Storage offerings will be provided).
