Responsibilities
The Technology Resilience Analyst plays a critical role in strengthening Mayo Clinic’s technology continuity, disaster recovery, and cyber resilience capabilities. Reporting to Technology Resilience leadership, this position supports resilience planning, testing and exercise execution, innovation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts to ensure alignment with enterprise risk strategies and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, document, maintain, and improve technology recovery and Information Technology continuity plans.Monitor systems to ensure secure backup and recovery environments.Participate in recovery testing, validation exercises, and after-action reviews to ensure procedures are accurate and effective.Facilitate and participate in solution workshops with technical teams and stakeholders to address resilience gaps.Contribute to initiatives that enhance technology resilience, cyber resilience, and response/recovery capabilities.Produce documentation, reporting, dashboards, and lessons learned to support program maturity and leadership visibility.Collaborate with risk management, information security, infrastructure teams, and senior IT leaders to ensure seamless recovery operations.Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance workflow, governance, and cross-functional coordination.Work independently to deliver established objectives while supporting broader team and leadership priorities.This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship/ we will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years technology or business administration experience, OR Associates degree with 7 years technology or business administration experience.
Other qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Management or related field preferred. Excellent communication, organization, problem solving and facilitation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills including conflict resolution. Demonstrated history of continuing education in personnel and administrative processes. Strong understanding of financial concepts, business process, continuous improvement and organizational development. Demonstrated mastery of all requirements detailed in the Systems Analyst job description. Experience working in healthcare technology.
Experience with committee and consensus driven organizations.
Experience in finance and project management.
Strongly Preferred Qualifications
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.Foundational knowledge or experience in automation, cloud and on-premises technologies, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.Familiarity with disaster recovery planning, recovery testing, and resilience frameworks.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholder groups.Commitment to advancing resilience and recovery capabilities.Preferred Qualifications
Professional certifications (CBCP, CCRP, CHPCP, CISM, CISSP, HCISPP, PMP).Experience supporting enterprise resilience programs or large-scale IT environments.Experience facilitating cross-functional workshops and structured intake/governance processes.Familiarity with risk management frameworks, cyber resilience strategies, and regulatory compliance environments (e.g., NIST, HITRUST, ISO).Experience developing dashboards, metrics, and reporting for executive audiences.Demonstrated leadership initiative, including coordinating efforts across teams and mentoring peers.Exemption Status
