Technology Merger, Acquisition, and Divestitures – Technology Solutions Lead

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Technology Business Services Technology Solutions Consultant to drive strategic technology solutions that support mergers, acquisitions, and divestiture activities across the enterprise. This role is critical in ensuring seamless technology integration and separation aligned with corporate and technology strategy, risk controls, and operational excellence.


In this role, you will:

Lead and coordinate technology solutions supporting M&A and divestiture initiatives.Support TMAD and CMAD teams in developing capabilities for due diligence and transaction execution.Oversee end-to-end technology design and delivery from Day 1 through transaction closure and decommissioning.Create and maintain documentation (e.g., architecture diagrams, data flows, procedures) aligned with transaction requirements.Train team members on relevant toolsets and processes.Act as liaison between technology teams, enterprise partners, buyer/seller teams, and TMAD/CMAD during transactions.Continuously optimize developed toolsets for efficiency and scalability.Develop and manage project plans to ensure timely delivery of technology solutions.Ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards, policies, and governance.Deliver all assigned outcomes within deadlines set by TMAD leadership.Review customer information with the technology team and implement technical initiatives for highly complex projects impacting multiple lines of business or across the enterpriseUnderstand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements forMake decisions in complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of managing multiple medium technology development efforts that influence and lead broader work team and drive new initiativesProvide guidance on leveraging new technology


Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education5+ years’ experience in roles that support transaction work either in house M&A / Divestitures or consulting experience


Desired Qualifications:

Experience leading large-scale M&A/divestiture projectsProven technology experience in financial services M&A/integration/separationProject management experienceExperience managing large-scale technology initiatives in a major line of businessDemonstrated influence at all organizational levels, especially senior managementProficiency with AI platforms and tools such as Microsoft CoPilot and/or Google Notebook as well as familiarity with LLM orchestration, prompt engineering, and tool integrationProcess engineering, continuous improvement experience (Six Sigma preferred)Advanced degree in Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fieldStrong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$119,000.00 - $224,000.00
