Infosys is seeking to hire skilled System Administrator/Linux admin required for upgrades and maintenance using AWS Patch manager and fixing security vulnerabilities and having exposure working on Cloud infrastructure.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of educationAt least 4 years of Information Technology experienceThe candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC or willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this timeExperience of AWS services (Step functions\\ AWS Lambda\\ EC2\\ Rest APIs \\ Kafka, IAM and other AWS cloud servicesExperience in Linux administration (Patching and security operations).CI\\CD experience / DevSecOps IntegrationPreferred Qualifications:Automate patching processes to minimize application downtime using configuration management tools.Identify and remediate system vulnerabilities in compliance with security standards.Install, configure, and maintain Unix operating systems on MIS servers and cloud platforms.Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and troubleshoot issues affecting availability and efficiency.Implement and manage security measures, including firewalls, user access controls, and regular security patch updates.Collaborate with teams to address End-of-Life (EOL) and End-of-Support (EOS) remediation activities.Develop and maintain patching and upgrade schedules for systems and applications.Manage data backup and recovery processes, including scheduling, testing, and restoration procedures.diagnose and resolve system-related issues promptly to ensure minimal operational disruptionStrong communication skillsWorking experience on ITIL processes
