Join our strategic partnership and contracts team as a technology contracts specialist where you will manage timely renewal of assigned technology contracts and ensure Emirates Group IT requirements, standards, and best interests are reflected in all technology contracts. You will also support the technology contracts manager in establishing an IT contract governance framework to ensure compliance by the various technology functions throughout the contract lifecycle. This includes supporting the contract renewal and management in conjunction with relevant stakeholders like procurement and logistics, P&L, group legal, IT, etc.

In this role you will: Manage timely contract execution, renewal, and amendment for Group IT including software, hardware, and services contracts. Ensure that contract terms adhere to agreed Group technology standards and legal parameters. Support the department in establishing and maintaining an IT contract governance framework to enable standardizing processes, ensuring regular contract monitoring, and mitigating risks and compliance issues. Act as a single point of contact within Emirates Group IT for guidance on all work orders, change requests, amendments for specific services and projects, etc. Advise senior management stakeholders in formulating the most appropriate recourse in case of disputes or claims and identify all related implications by working closely with the group legal department. Support the technology contracts manager in reviewing and monitoring all technology contracts with suppliers. This includes, but is not limited to, supporting contract review and discussions along with P&L, group legal, and other departments. Act as a trusted advisor to internal IT teams to interpret contract terms and understand any (i) boundaries, restrictions; (ii) value adds, etc., within the contracts, to ensure that the business avails the maximum benefit and utilization of the contract. Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage risk factors related to contract management and vendor relationships. Track contract milestones, deliverables, and deadlines and communicate updates to stakeholders within the portfolios. Manage the contract library by securely storing, organizing, and documenting all contracts and related correspondence. Develop and maintain strong long-term relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth contract negotiations and renewals. Conduct regular reviews of existing and new contracts for continuous monitoring of contractual obligations and to recommend opportunities for cost savings and/or process improvements. Qualification

To be considered for this role you must meet the below requirements:

A degree or honours (12+3 or equivalent). Five years’ experience in information technology or other relevant fields. Experience in handling contracts, drafting, review, and management in the information technology industry. Experience in commercial and contract management roles within the IT department of a large organization or for an independent IT solutions supplier. Experience in the aviation industry is an added advantage. Knowledge and skills Awareness of prevalent IT product and service methodologies and their basic financial implications. Ability to systematically analyse complex problems, draw relevant conclusions, and implement appropriate solutions. Strong verbal and written skills and ability to convey complex information. Knowledge of standard IT contracts from a customer and supplier perspective. Salary and benefits
