About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Business Systems Consultant join a team that provides Quality Assurance, System testing to General Ledger, and General Ledger Financial Reporting tools within the Controller’s Division of Enterprise Finance. This role will align the team to the strategic project testing, planning and execution, and work closely with various stake holders and technology team. This role will also contribute to strategize and implement successful testing strategy.

In this role, you will:

Evaluate moderately complex business problems and provide technical assistance in identifying automated systems and related procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirementsReview and evaluate moderately complex technical business problems that can be resolved through internet or intranet based solutionsPresent recommendations for resolving business problemsExercise some independent judgment when developing project budgets, project plans, and schedulesProvide information about communication between business and technology teamsWork with business user groups to provide training, handle questions, observe user needs, and document results

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Strong years of Business or IT experience in financial services domain with strong exposure with SDLC/Agile practices e.g., Kanban, Scrum, SAFeStrong years of proven experience in IT QA/ Testing and test automation in financial domainBachelors/master’s degree in IT, Science, Mathematics, Statistics or likeStrong Oracle SQL/PL and SQL writing skillsGood exposure to banking and finance domainGood experience in testing automation and leading small to medium complex testing automation projectsStrong risk management leadership and dependency management skillsStrong organization, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Job Expectations:

The Technology Business Systems Consultant position is in a team that provides Quality Assurance for the General Ledger tools and processes within the Controller’s Division of Enterprise Finance. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Knowledge and understanding of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Ability to perform functional testing of system enhancements.Knowledge and understanding of relational databases: SQLStrong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problemsKnowledge and understanding of database querying and creating ad hoc reporting results using SQL or similar querying methods.Work Hours: 1:30PM IST to 10:30PM ISTSupport stakeholder development by maintaining ongoing interaction that increases their awareness, understanding, accountability, and engagement in the reporting processPerform Reviews of various deliverables, identify issues and manage risk by self-identification of issuesCollaborate and influence all levels of professionals including senior managersCoordinate and participate in project test planning, test environment planning, data requirement for various strategic testing initiativeBuild and report performance and risk metrics, participate in system performance reviews and provide inputs for the continuous improvementsDemonstrate strong collaboration with various Scrum and Kanban team, close coordination with product owners and support various products demonstrating strong functional capabilityUnderstand complex business requirements and convert those into logical test casesCreate test plan and test lab for SIT and UAT testingPerform manual DB and application testing, compare resultsCollaborate with different stakeholders and create test strategyCreate defect as appropriate and perform defect reporting and defect managementExplore testing automation opportunities and implement for efficiency improvementCollaborate with various stakeholders in AGILE methodologySupport different SIT and UAT test cyclesDemonstrate process improvement and testing automation capabilities.
