Short Description:
In the role of a Android developer, you will be expected to develop, configure, and customize Spark NZ, Skinny Jump Mobile App applications to meet business needs. This role will interface with client and will involve design, development and maintenance.

Roles and Responsibilities:Develop, configure, and customize Spark NZ, Skinny Jump Mobile App applications to meet business needs.Develop and maintain Android applications.Design and integrate with internal and external systems using RESTful APIs, OAuth 2.0, and GraphQL.Automate workflows using Jelly scripting, XML, SOAP, and JavaScript.Collaborate with business analysts and system architects to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Routine platform upgrades, deal to any issues, build integrations, and data quality issues.Essential:Years of experience: 5+Strong experience in Android development with proficiency in Kotlin.Familiarity with MVVM application design patterns and Android framework components.Familiarity with Restful API design.Familiarity with Figma.Experience with agile development methodologies and Git for version control tool such as Azure DevOpsProficient in code versioning tools including Mercurial, Git, and SVN.Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometersKnowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasksUnderstanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelinesAbility to influence, persuade and mobilize internal/external resources to fulfill customer requirements Preferred:Customers handling and stakeholder management skills.Proven ability to work collaboratively with designers, architects, sales staff, field technicians and external customers.Well organized and able to do multi-tasking, problem solving, troubleshooting techniques and strategic thinking.Analytical skills to interpret IT user requests and understand end user requirements.Capability to work with people in different time zonesAbility to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment and appropriately prioritize tasks, and keep abreast of the latest technology.Demonstrated ability to build strong & effective customer relationships.Solid knowledge of the IT Service Management framework, practices, and process experience in Information Technology.Service Delivery tasks like, reporting, customer relationship, SLA management etc.Additional Skills:Excellent customer interfacing skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
