POSITION TITLE: Technician - Network Deployment
REPORTS TO: Associate Manager Communications
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Technician of Network Deployment will enhance AEO's business operations by providing support for network connectivity for our retail, digital, and distribution center environments. The position will work with internal and external partners to order and coordinate the delivery of business critical communications services. This role requires a highly organized individual with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of network technologies. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning and Coordination
Procure and coordinate the lifecycle maintenance of network services, including mobility, for AEO retail and corporate locations. Collaborate with vendors and third-party contractors for equipment procurement, delivery, and installation. Staging new equipment for deployment and tracking return of old equipment.Communication and Reporting
Ensure on time delivery of network services for new store openings, remodels, and relocations with cross functional colleagues. Create and maintain networking related documentation and procedures to publish for associate reference. Manage inventory and cost containment for AEO network services.Resolution Management
Troubleshoot and resolve deployment-related issues in a timely manner. Escalate critical issues to appropriate management when necessary. Support the AEO helpdesk and associates through resolution of escalated network carrier trouble tickets.Quality Assurance
Take advantage of AEO and manufacturer provided resources to gain knowledge and certifications. Help our team enhance the use of automation supporting continuous improvements to existing programs and procedures. Tracking and managing third-party performance to ensure agreed upon service levels are being met.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Demonstrated proficiency of MS Office and/or Google Workplace tools+ Project coordination skills including budget tracking and expense management Previous experience managing telecommunications installations and mobility services Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment with many competing priorities Ability to provide friendly customer service to all levels both inside and outside of the organization Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team Experience in configuring network and telephony equipment a plus

Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
