Your success is our success\. **Description** **JOB SUMMARY:** To provide technical assistance to engineering and corporate staff\. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Provides technical assistance, under the direct supervision of the engineering staff in compiling technical information, solving problems and assisting in preparing reports working from various procedures and standard practices\. o Researches, computes, charts, plots, reads and measures engineering or test data\. o Assists engineering staff in compiling data and preparing engineering reports\. o Operates computer equipment to process engineering data\. o May be required to help prepare engineering data sketches\. * Requires minimal contact with personnel in engineering to obtain and furnish information during training period\. * Direct observation of a certified Level 2 in NDI is required for all Accept/Reject decisions **Qualifications** **EDUCATION:** Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification and the use of drawings, specifications, basic math and technical knowledge\. Requires 80 hours of NDI formal training\. **EXPERIENCE:** Up to one year experience in nondestructive testing preferred\. **Kansas Tax Credit:** Join Textron Aviation’s Kansas team and you may be eligible for a $5,000 state of Kansas Aviation tax credit for up to five years\.
